ABOUT THE PRACTITIONER (C.M.T, L.M.T)

I came to this work during my own pursuit of mind-body healing. Through my training in bodywork, I learned how the body stores the stress and pain of everyday life. Bringing deep awareness to these patterns is a crucial element of healing. I believe intentional bodywork has the power to facilitate an opening to our higher selves.

My goal is to create a respectful shared space where you can experience genuine relaxation and relief. Letting go of what no longer serves us creates spaciousness for the mind and body to heal. You are free, safe, and loved in our practice.

Before your session we will meet to discuss your therapeutic needs and I will tailor the massage to what is showing up in your body. Massage supports your body’s own healing process by reducing inflammation, increasing circulation, stretching tissue, boosting immune function, and soothing the nervous system. I use Myofascial/deep tissue, Swedish, Lymphatic, and Lomi Lomi massage techniques. If you are seeking relief from an injury or condition, I will spend intentional time addressing the area. I also incorporate aromatherapy, stretching, breath work, joint rotations, herbal preparations and hot towels.

I studied massage therapy at Balance Massage School in Waterbury, VT and have training in herbal medicine, lymphatic drain, and Lomi Lomi massage. I passed the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards’ national licensing exam and am a certified member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. I am continually learning from mentors of all backgrounds.
